The movie ''gone'' is coming out in 2012,when researshing i found out that it has almost the same storyline i created for my A" production.i has the same idea of two sisters being close and one getting kidnapped,although in my storyline the reason behind the kidnapping is different.

Storyline

In London, the pimp Derek assigns the prostitute Kelly that works for him to find a young girl on the streets to escort the powerful mobster Duncan Allen. Kelly befriends Joanne and takes her to Duncan's mansion. When Joanne cries in the bedroom where she is with Duncan, Kelly runs and defends the girl. For my project this year i decided to go for the choice of making a movie trailer,a web homepage and a poster.the genre im going with this year is thriller/suspense.the reason i have chosen to work with this genre is because i think i can come up with good ideas and storylines that can define the genre.the storyline idea im working across is the subject of kidnapping.

STORYLINE IDEAS

two sisters live alone (aged 19 and 16) after parents die in tragic accident,a year later younger sister gets kidnapped by people that want a certain amount of money from them because the parents failed to pay them before death(unfinished business) 19 year old has to find a way to get certain amout of money before her time is up without concidering the fact that parents left them with hardly anything,she also unravels the real cause of her parents death.


social worker lives alone with daughter,daughter gets kiddnapped by man from one of mothers old cases.mother has to find a way to fix conflicting problems between them before time runs out.with no help from the police.

young girl gets kidnapped by troubled neighbor who has always wanted a child and movie is basically about how she grows up a how relationship between them ends after she realises shes been kidnapped

MUSIC DOCUMENTRY

This music documentry was done by my class,we all went to out and made clips from different music genres based one the question 'why is music important'. We narrowed it down to targeting youths.we put it all together and this is what we made.

My contribution to the project was a parody for music video 'Lazy Song' by Bruno Mars,with questions and answers after.The parody in my opinion looked good but a few changes could have been made,for example at 05:18secs of the video, the lyrics arent in sync with her actions.


I could see the video as a sort of promotonal documentry under sony,promoting their music and the different genres.But having being under sony i think some changes would be made to make it more profesional.the changes would involve alot more editing to make the video one as a whole instead of differnt clips being put together,so basically to make the video look more stuctured.

 when we uploaded the documentry onto youtube we realised it was muted. later on we found out the reason was because of the bruno mars song i was using for my part of the documentry,so in the end we uploaded it onto our blogs in a different way.although i dont see why the video was muted because it was cleary stated that its a parody, youtube still asked to contact warner brothers to ask for the right to use their music.after watching 'ripit' by brett gaylor,a documentary which examines copyright issues i realised there alot of arguments raised about copyright.for example what the american musician,girl talk does for a living which was remixing and taking parts of other peoples song and putting it together to create a new one.
